I recently ordered some important documents for our upcoming trip to Japan. The order was shipped via 2-day Fedex. Well, 3 business days later it didn't arrive. And that was after I had checked the tracking status online and was told it was arriving around 4:30pm that day.
Turns out my package, which was in LA (just 130 miles south of Santa Barbara), got to spend a night in Oakland before getting shipped back down south to Goleta (10 miles north of SB), and eventually on a truck from there to Santa Barbara. Oh well.
