I've always known Warcraft (and other online multi-player games) can become extremely addicting and take over your life. I've also always wondered what the draw was...why play for endless hours when there was no end to it, no way to "win." And as if that's not enough, most of the time is dedicated to menial tasks that seem very boring to the average over-the=shoulder spectator.

The story posted on this blog describes the Warcraft experience from an elite player. Equally intriguing is the response by his ex-girlfriend (link is found at the bottom of the page). Both are depressing. Worth the read for anyone that knows about, has played, has friends that play, or otherwise want to learn about the World of Warcraft epidemic.
